Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand-born actress. She was born in Winnipeg however, she was raised in Wellington the city where she was born, she was the first actress to appear on screen in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. After responding to a call for open auditions at the age of nine, and with little prior experience acting when she was selected for the role of Flora McGrath role. Flora was the daughter of a Scottish musician who was blind. The couple moved from Scotland to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century in an effort to get married. After moving in the United States, she became a teenager. Paquin had the role of lead in Fly Away Home in 1996 and also had a small part in the film as Jane Eyre when she was just a young child. Paquin played Frankie Addams as a child in the television film adaptation Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin was also in the role of the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 feature film Amistad. She played teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). She also was the character of the teenage groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
