Ashley was born in London, England on December 6th, 1981. Ashley Madekwe (born 6 December 1981) is an actress born in England. Her mother is English however her dad is Nigerian. She was born on the South London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. As a student at the school, she appeared in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw. Madekwe started her acting career by appearing in a movie titled Storm Damage. She's appeared as one of the guests in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. She then played Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi in The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the comedic How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being removed. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the show's first two seasons in a role that was regular. In late may 2013, the news was announced that Madekwe would be departing the series after having a guest role in the season's first episode. From 2014 to the year 2016, she appeared in Salem in the role of Tituba.
Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They collaborated in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared alongside Madekwe on Salem.
Ashley Mae Sebera (better known as Dana Brooke) is a professional wrestler, who is a part of World Wrestling Entertainment. Sebera earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in Design, Fashion and merchandise from Kent State University in 2011 along with a minor in business administration. Sebera was involved in several diversions, including diving before she decided to go back to gymnastics. Sebera's ankles were severely injured after she had been gymnast for over 18 years. She was forced to quit. Sebera then started training to become a fitness and bodybuilder competitor. In 2010, she won championships at National Physique Committee (NPC) competitions, she earned her professional license in 2012 and started taking part with the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB). Sebera began her WWE debut in 2013 following signing a WWE contract. She stayed for 3 years in WWE NXT training and doing events before making her debut on the WWE Main Roster in 2016 on Monday Night RAW. Aside from professional wrestling, Sebera kept a strong presence in bodybuilding, returning to the 2017 Arnold's Classic, competing in the international fitness category.
